Join us Thursday, July 16 at 10 AM for stories read by friends at AG Charter School followed by a fun craft!

COMMUNITY EVENTS 

Hometown Harvest First Friday: Friday, August 7, 5:00–8:00 PM, Downtown Oxford (Third Street, Oxford, PA). Celebrate Oxford's agricultural community with more than 70 tractors lining downtown, local vendors, food trucks, live music by Denise & Max, family activities, a straw bale throwing contest, a hilarious spouse-calling competition, and special appearances from Ben Franklin for America's 250th celebration. Admission and parking are free.

Summer Bouquet Bar & Floral Design Workshop: Friday, August 7, 6:00 PM, Harvest Ridge Winery, Toughkenamon. Create your own custom bouquet using fresh summer flowers while enjoying an evening at the winery. A fun outing for friends, couples, or anyone looking for a creative summer activity. Tickets

Twilight on the Terrace: Friday, August 7 and Friday, August 28, 5:00–8:00 PM, Mt. Cuba Center. Enjoy an evening of live music in the gardens with food trucks, beer, wine, cocktails, and free guided garden tours. The August 7 performance features NDICHU playing funk and soul.

Festival of Flight: Saturday, August 8–Sunday, August 9, New Garden Flying Field, 1235 Newark Rd., Toughkenamon, PA. Watch thrilling aerobatic performances, explore antique aircraft and classic cars, browse vendors, and enjoy food throughout this exciting weekend aviation festival, including a spectacular evening air show.

Tour-de-Trike: Saturday, August 8, 3:30–6:00 PM, Gay Street between Church & Darlington Streets, West Chester. Teams race oversized tricycles through downtown in this fun, family-friendly competition inspired by West Chester's former Criterium race. Rain date is August 9. Details

True Crime on Trial: Tuesday, August 11, 6:00–9:00 PM, Victory Brewing Company, 212 Bridge St., Downingtown. Become part of the jury as historians from the Chester County History Center present evidence from a real historical local crime. Guests can enjoy food and drinks available for purchase while deciding the verdict before learning what actually happened. Recommended for adults due to graphic subject matter.

Dueling Pianos: Wednesday, August 12, 7:00–9:30 PM, Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center, 226 N. High St., West Chester. The Philly Keys bring their high-energy, all-request dueling piano show featuring audience participation, sing-alongs, and music spanning classic rock, country, pop, and today's biggest hits.

Banana Ball Tour: Thursday, August 13–Saturday, August 15, Wilmington. Tickets start at $35. Experience baseball like you've never seen before with dancing players, fan challenges, nonstop entertainment, and fast-paced games featuring the Tailgaters and Loco Beach Coconuts.

Live Music at The Creamery: Fridays and Saturdays, 7:00–10:00 PM, The Creamery, Kennett Square. Spend the evening on the outdoor patio enjoying live performances from local bands, along with food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. Musical styles change each week, making every visit a little different.

WEEKLY EVENTS

Story & Craft Time: Mondays at 10:00 AM, Christian Life Center, All kids and parents are invited to join us every Monday in the Yellow Mug Cafe for story time. We ask that parents accompany their kids for these events. No registration required

Track & Build Hot Wheels: Tuesdays at 10:00 AM, Kennett Square Library, Come build and race using our Hot Wheels tracks and cars during our Start Your Engines! Morning Sessions, in the Children's Area.

Walking Book Club: Tuesdays in March, 10:00-11:00 AM, Strollers and families welcome.Bundle up, grab an audiobook, and walk with friends while listening to your favorite library books! Check them out at Kennett Library, where we start, and walk with us in town. We end our walks at Mary Pat's Provisions, where you will receive 50 cents off a beverage. Registration required for beverage coupon. Families with strollers or wheelchairs are welcome! Every Tuesday morning this month 10-11am.

Toddler Storytime: Tuesdays, 10:30-11:15 AM, Avon Grove Library, Bring your little ones for a morning of reading that fosters creativity, learning, and social skills.

Trivia Night: Wednesdays, 7 PM, The Market at Liberty Place, Free, Enjoy a fun night of trivia with friends and learn something new along the way!

Music Bingo: Saturdays, 6:30-8:30 PM, Paradocx Vineyards, Free, Music bingo is a fun spin on traditional bingo that allows you to jam out to song snippets while competing for gift cards & other prizes!
