Return Policy

We want you to love your purchase, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help! We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Please keep your receipt or proof of purchase handy. We reserve the right to refuse a return if an item shows signs of wear or use.

Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return won’t be accepted.

Return Shipping Costs

We do our best to make returns simple for our customers:

  • Clothing items qualify for free returns—we’ll cover the return shipping cost because we understand that sizing can be tricky!
  • All other items (home decor, food, and non-clothing accessories) are not eligible for free return shipping. After their return is accepted, customers may chose their preferred shipping method to return their order to Rooted

Damages and Issues

We always want to make things right! If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us right away so we can take care of it.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Some items are final sale and can’t be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (such as food and beverages)
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Personal care items (such as beauty products)
  • Sale items and gift cards

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, don’t hesitate to ask!

Exchanges

If you need a different size or color, the quickest way to get what your ideal size is to return the original item and place a new order once the return is approved.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know if your refund has been approved. If so, you’ll be refunded within 10 business days to your original payment method. Please keep in mind that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
