Don’t Eat The Homies

Meet the Artist

What started as a single hoodie design has grown into one of the world's most recognizable vegan streetwear brands.

Founded in 2018 by Jordyn Weekly, Don't Eat The Homies (DETH) was born from a simple idea with a powerful message. Inspired by her passion for animal advocacy, Jordyn created a design featuring the now-iconic phrase Don't Eat The Homies alongside animals most commonly impacted by commercial animal agriculture. She shared the hoodies with friends, wore them throughout Los Angeles, and quickly discovered that the message resonated far beyond her own community.

As more people began asking where they could get one, what started as an accidental project became a movement. Today, Don't Eat The Homies has grown into the largest vegan streetwear brand, using fashion as a conversation starter and a way for people to wear their values every day.

At its heart, DETH believes that compassion never goes out of style. The brand exists to make veganism more approachable, encourage thoughtful conversations, and inspire positive change through clothing that reflects kindness, respect, and awareness.

As a women-owned business, Don't Eat The Homies is equally committed to making a tangible impact. The company donates 10% of all proceeds to animal sanctuaries and rescue organizations that provide lifelong care for rescued animals while advancing education and advocacy. They also partner with local rescues, host community fundraising events, and continually support organizations dedicated to protecting animals around the world.

Sustainability is woven into every step of the brand's process. DETH produces clothing in small batches to reduce waste, incorporates recycled and responsibly sourced materials whenever possible, uses minimal recycled or compostable packaging, and partners with manufacturers that uphold high standards for ethical labor, worker safety, and environmental responsibility.

For Don't Eat The Homies, every sweatshirt, tee, and accessory represents more than great design. It's an invitation to spark conversations, support meaningful causes, and choose compassion. Their mission isn't just to create clothing; it's to build a kinder future, one thoughtful choice at a time.
