“Every leaf speaks bliss to me fluttering from the autumn tree.”
Emily Brontë put into words how we feel each fall. Watching the world around us slowly turn hues of red and gold, there is a deep satisfaction found within. This season, that feeling inspired the way we brought autumn into Rooted. Familiar leaves made larger than life serve as little reminders to slow down, look up, and enjoy the beauty surrounding us.
Fall, All Around
Our display team took inspiration from the leaves native to our corner of Pennsylvania, sketching them out and hanging them larger than life throughout the store. They float overhead in muted shades of burgundy, deep brown, dark cyan, and amber, turning each room into its own little piece of autumn.
Because our historic colonial building has so many entrances, we didn’t want to create just one grand fall display. Instead, we let autumn make its way into every corner.
Choose Your Door
Through the side door, you’ll step into seasonal home decor filled with creations from makers throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. The front door opens into a Halloween wonderland, complete with skeletons, pumpkins, and plenty of spooky treasures to discover.
And through the back door? You’ll find yourself in our fall market barn, where seasonal flavors, artisanal foods, and one-of-a-kind pottery pieces are waiting to be admired. No matter where you enter, there’s somewhere new to wander.
And all around the shop, pumpkin and cinnamon mingle in the air. You may find yourself taking a deeper breath just to stay in it a little longer.
A Season to Cozy Up
We chose these pieces for the feeling of fall: the first cool breeze at dusk, smoke curling above a bonfire, the quiet magic of a porch after sunset. Sweaters soft enough to sink into, scarves tossed around your shoulders, hats pulled low as the evening settles in. Little layers for chasing the last warmth of the day.
