Storytime Party: Roooted's Summer Event
We had the best time under the big leafy oaks in our side yard for our very first Summer Storytime Party! It was a morning full of laughter, crafts, and community, hosted alongside Avon Grove Charter School’s K–3 Principal Kelly Henrickson and Vice Principal Kristopher Stevenson. They read some fun, summer-themed books and reminded everyone that summer is all about resting, relaxing, and reading!
Kids got to stuff their very own wolf—the Avon Grove Charter School mascot! Parents had the chance to meet the principals, ask questions, and enjoy a low-pressure, welcoming space for incoming Kindergartners.
Rooted offered snacks, popsicles, and water to keep everyone cool, along with free bubbles to take home and first pick at our new little free library.
